Dr. Steven Beagle

Dr. Steven Beagle serves as the Superintendent of the Nederland Independent School District. He brings nearly four decades of dedicated service to the students, staff, and community of Nederland ISD, having served the district in numerous capacities as both an educator and administrator.

A proud graduate of Nederland High School, Dr. Beagle earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1987, Master’s degree in 1995, and Doctorate in 2012 from Lamar University. His professional experience within Nederland ISD includes service as a Classroom Math Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Assistant Superintendent.

Dr. Beagle has been married to his wife, Pam, for forty years. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys golfing, fishing, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren.
