TESTING CALENDARS & RESULTS

STAAR Results:

Log into your HAC (Home Access Center) account and go to the Grades page.  Then click on the Texas Test Scores tab.  You should have a link that will take you straight to your student's STAAR results.  

OR

You can access your child's STAAR results by going to www.texasassessment.gov

You will need your student's six character unique code or you will need to enter their PEIMS number or their unique id.  

If you do not have your student's unique access code, call or email the District Testing Coordinator.  

 

 

STANDARDIZED TESTING INFORMATION

NISD Standardized Testing Program

The standardized testing program for Nederland ISD includes the administration of the following:

  • NWEA Map Growth - universal screener

  • Iowa Test of Basic Skills, Form C (ITBS) - achievement test

  • Cognitive Abilities Test, Form 6 (CogAT) - mental ability test

  • mCLASS - K-2nd reading diagnostic test

  • State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) - state-mandated assessment of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum.  All STAAR tests are administered online for students in 3rd-8th grade and in the EOC (End of Course) tested subjects at high school.  Students receiving special accommodations can get online embedded supports through the STAAR online testing program.  

  • STAAR Alt 2 - a state-mandated test for students with the most severe cognitive disabilities

  • Texas English Language Proficiency Assessment System (TELPAS) - designed to assess the progress that English language learner (ELL) students make in learning the English language
