Qualifications: 
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
Valid Texas educational aide certificate (preferred)
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with parents, students, and school staff
Organizational skills, including typing, filing, scheduling, and record keeping
Proficiency with the district student information system and LPAC documentation software
Working knowledge of, or ability to learn, the TEA LPAC Framework (19 TAC Chapter 89, Subchapter BB)
Ability to maintain confidentiality of student records in accordance with FERPA
Spanish speaking preferred
Experience:
One year of clerical or office experience, preferably in a school setting
Experience with Bilingual/ESL programs or LPAC documentation preferred
