Bacterial Meningitis Information

Bacterial meningitis is a serious illness that can spread quickly and requires immediate medical attention. Early symptoms may include fever, headache, stiff neck, nausea, sensitivity to light, and confusion.

Parents should seek medical care right away if symptoms are present. Vaccination is the most effective way to prevent certain types of bacterial meningitis.
