Title IX Nondiscrimination Statement
Nederland ISD does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other legally protected status in its educational programs, services, or activities. This includes admissions and employment.
The District complies with applicable federal laws, including Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Questions or concerns regarding discrimination may be directed to the appropriate District coordinator or to the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights.

Title IX Training Materials
Nederland ISD provides training to employees involved in the Title IX process, including the Title IX Coordinator, investigators, decision-makers, and individuals responsible for informal resolution.
Training ensures that personnel:
- Understand what constitutes sexual harassment under Title IX
- Follow the District’s grievance process
- Conduct investigations and decisions impartially
- Evaluate relevance of evidence appropriately
- Avoid conflicts of interest and bias
